Join us for a fascinating presentation on the extraordinary - but often unrecognized- women artists represented at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Renwick Gallery.

Smithsonian docent Sara Shoob will examine the stories of a variety of trailblazing contemporary artists, many of whom are featured in the “Drawn to Art” digital series produced by the museum. Learn about the struggles and triumphs of these talented artists in this online program offered by the Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia, affiliated with Northern Virginia Community College.
