In the more than 60 years since he recorded his first album, Bob Dylan has been seen as a genius and an inspiration by many. At the same time, others dismiss him as “the guy who could never sing.”
We’ll discuss the role that Dylan had in the social change of the 1960s and highlight his musical accomplishments, which continue to this very day. We’ll also analyze ways that Dylan’s music has transcended traditional rock/folk/popular genres and why he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016.
