Our live, virtual, interactive one-hour walk will begin at the Graca viewpoint. The city of Lisbon is set among 7 hillsides, each offering its own unique view of the city. Graca is the residential district. We will then walk down to the Alfama district, which is a delightful maze of narrow cobbled streets and ancient houses that line the steep hill. On our way, we will see urban artwork depicting Amalia. Then, we will be at our second viewpoint, known as Portas do Sol Viewpoint. From there, let’s walk down the narrow streets of Alfama. We will chat about how tourism has changed what was once a lower-class district into the well-visited place it is today. We will conclude our walk near the Fado Museum.
