This week’s topic: Create a Lasting Digital Legacy from Your Mountain of Old Family Photos

Do you remember a time when photographs were precious and few? Fast forward to today and all those photographs are cluttering our basements and garages. They are no longer precious or few! We take so many photos on our iPhones that can be shared easily. Could it be the same for old photos?

In this session, we’ll guide you through four simple steps to digitize your family photos and create a lasting, shareable digital legacy that future generations will love. We’ll also explore the fifth step: deciding whether to scan the photos yourself or use a professional scanning service.

Chris Moss is a change agent! She not only loves change, she embraces it! At And Now What? A Community for Women in Season Change, she uses the Five Ps of Season Change: Project, Place, People, Physical Activity, and Pastime, to help others prepare for change–especially retirement. She lives out passionately the 5 Ps everyday by creating meaningful friendships and activities that sustain and vitalize her.

In “Creating a Lasting Digital Legacy from Your Mountain of Old Photos,” Chris introduced a project that she did with her husband and his family photos during COVID (she had already completed her own family photos alone). It was much more fun doing it with another person!

Chris is a retired fundraiser and lives in Tempe, Arizona with her husband, Ed, a retired CEO. She is the Emotional Support Human for her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Rosie. After her kids left the nest, she redirected her leftover love to mentor young moms through The MomCo, an international mom community (best decision she ever made!). She is a Pilates devotee. She likes to read, crochet, and travel. She makes killer breakfast casseroles.
