In collaboration with The Generations Project, AARP Oregon presents a monthly virtual social gathering to connect people within the LGBTQ+ community and allies, using writing and discussion prompts. Topics vary from the humorous to the personal, allowing participants to find a subject they find easy to write or talk about.
This month, we’ll explore the topic Finding Strength and Resilience in Aging. The 2024 theme is Powered by Connection, which recognizes the impact that meaningful relationships have on our health and well-being.
Between each writing period, group conversation is guided by facilitators from The Generation Project, which cultivates intergenerational community across ages, classes and sexual and gender identities and preserves LGBTQ+ history through oral story sharing. No writing experience is necessary.
How to Join
