AARP surveys have indicated that the majority of older adults prefer to age in place in their current homes and communities. However, only a small percentage of homes are designed to accommodate the needs of aging individuals, incorporating single-story living or wheelchair-accessible sinks, for example.

This is where AARP HomeFit comes in! By using the free AARP HomeFit Guide, individuals and families can learn how to make their residence or that of a loved one a place to comfortably and safely age in place for years to come.
