How Much Food is Too Much?

A foodie and obesity specialist will explore that question in the context of aging and the science of nutrition and offer tips for enjoying a healthy diet.

Humans eat for a multitude of reasons: to fuel our bodies and give ourselves the energy we need to function, but also to socialize with friends and family, to celebrate successes, to reward good behavior and to combat sadness, loneliness and boredom. With so many reasons to eat and convenience foods at our fingertips, determining "how much is too much" can be complicated!

During this session, foodie and obesity specialist Dr. Sheri Cheung will explore reasons to pay attention to what and when and how much we eat. We can use food as medicine, both to heal our bodies and prevent the progression of chronic diseases.
