If retirement is approaching and thinking about it scares you, a new AARP online platform may help you make key preparations.

Join AARP California for an introduction to ThisisPretirement.org, a new campaign from AARP and the Ad Council that encourages those thinking about retirement to plan for their financial future. Small steps taken during those “pretirement” years can help you accomplish retirement-planning goals like paying off debt, building an emergency fund and understanding your retirement savings options.

Carly Roszkowski, vice president of financial resilience programs, and Sherie Winston, project manager of integrated communications and marketing, from AARP’s national headquarters, will walk you through this online platform – the helpful quiz, the action planner – as well as retirement-planning resources available on the AARP website.

Sign in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will receive an email with the Zoom link before class.
