Cooking Class: Hone Your Knife Skills
This virtual class on how to chop and slice safely and efficiently will help you expertly turn a pile of vegetables into a tasty meal.

If there is one thing that can make all the difference in eating healthfully, it’s a good sharp knife (or two, tops) and the skills to wield it well. In this class, learn the knife techniques that will help you avoid waste and injury and actually enjoy cutting veggies and fruits into attractive, useful shapes that will cook evenly.
Chef Robin Asbell will demonstrate how to chop and slice onions, garlic, carrots, peppers, chilies, sweet potatoes, squash, leafy greens, herbs and more. Have some on hand if you’d like to practice. There’s more than one way to chop an onion!
