Writing Your Legacy Letter - Part 1

Part 1 of our series designed to help women transform their life experiences into a legacy will explore how to write an ethical will.

Legacy letters or ethical wills articulate our values, history, stories and learnings for those we care about. This 3-part series will detail how women can leave an enduring document of beliefs and blessings for future generations.

Rachael Freed, author of “Women’s Lives, Women’s Legacies: Creating Your Own Ethical Will,” will share the history of men writing these legacy letters and explore how they can be a tool for women to express their values, blessings and hard-won wisdom. Participants will have a chance to ask questions.

The other sessions will examine:

• March 13: Part 2 - Women as mentors
• March 20: Part 3 - Women’s experiences as they age
