This four-webinar series will consider the sweep of American women’s history through the lives and work of women artists. Historically, in an art world dominated by men, women struggled to find a place. By the mid-1800s, some women were willing to buck the boundaries of propriety to find recognition.

This session, Mary Cassatt: Subversive Beauty, will look at the life and work of the American Impressionist painter.
