AARP Theater: ‘An American in Paris: The Musical’

After World War II, American GI Jerry Mulligan strives to make it as a painter in a city bursting with possibility.

Enjoy the musical version of the classic story, in which, American GI Jerry Mulligan has a chance encounter with a beautiful young dancer named Lise and the streets of Paris become the backdrop to a story of art, romance and friendship in the aftermath of war.

Jerry also gets to know pianist Adam Hochberg, who unbeknownst to Jerry adores the same woman. The two of them work together to create a ballet featuring said woman, who is promised to Henri Baurel. Romantic twists ensue!
