AARP Virginia and the Virginia Holocaust Museum in Richmond will offer a window into the history of the Holocaust via the museum’s artifacts, which include a boxcar like those used to transport millions to the concentration camps, cobblestones from the Warsaw ghetto and train rails that once led into Treblinka, as well as exhibits featuring stories of survivors.
You’ll also get a virtual look at the resources and information that the Holocaust Museum has to offer. The museum opened its doors in 1997 and averages about 42,000 visitors per year from around the world.
