In 1973, 15-year-old William Miller's unabashed love of music and his aspiration to become a rock journalist land him an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine. Miller interviews and tours with the up-and-coming band Stillwater, despite the objections of his protective mother. 

This film is rated R for sex, nudity and language.
