Healthy Living: Cooking Around the World

The last stop of our Cooking Around the World tour will feature three classic European cookies perfect for the holiday season.

AARP Rhode Island’s five-month Cooking Around the World series has introduced varied cuisines, both to enhance your culinary experience and to provide nutritious and delicious food choices. This month’s virtual healthy cooking class will feature three classic European holiday cookie recipes:

• Scottish Shortbread
• Austrian Linzer
• Gingerbread cookies that have been tied to holiday celebrations throughout Europe and Russia since the Middle Ages

These cookies will make great additions to your holiday festivities! The recipes will be emailed to you ahead of time in a confirmation email and reminder emails. 

How to Join

Please note that you must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will be emailed a link to join the class via Zoom prior to the event.
