40-Minute Pilates: Sitting Better
The gentle movements of this seated Pilates workout are designed to help you breathe better and improve your posture.

Learn what you can do to take care of your body while sitting in this gentle Pilates class led by Tom McCook. He will teach a seated Pilates workout that focuses on improving posture and energy to help bring balance into each area of your body. He’ll start with a basic overview of the anatomy of your pelvis and then lead you through a series of gentle movements that can help you breathe and sit better. You'll earn 500 points in the AARP Rewards loyalty program by attending this class; points can be redeemed for discounted gift cards and other deals.
This is a beginner Pilates class and offers modifications for all fitness levels. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen. And please make sure to read all reminder emails sent prior to class so that you will be aware of any updates and details needed to prepare for class. Props that you may want to have on hand: a chair and a small towel.
