Recycling expert Mark Bowers, retired solid waste programs division manager for the City of Sunnyvale, California, will walk us through the ins and outs of organics recycling and the hard, cold truth about recycling plastics. Which plastics get the green light and which ones don’t, and why? Mark will help us demystify the rules on what items are recyclable. He’ll also share tips on what we can do to reduce waste and how to manage organic materials by composting.
