Just as families plan for a wedding, a baby or buying a home or car, they may want to do advance funeral planning, too, and talk about the costs involved. Avoiding the topic will make eventually trying to respect your wishes more difficult, and likely more expensive, for your loved ones. And many people find great meaning and peace in carrying out funeral plans that honor their loved one’s wishes.
