Join us as we celebrate LGBT History Month with educator and activist Rodney Wilson, a high school teacher who conceived the idea for LGBT History Month in 1994. Following a special screening of the short documentary “Taboo Teaching,” which chronicles Rodney’s experience coming out as a gay man that year to his Missouri high school class during a history lesson, we’ll have an opportunity to speak with him about that time, LGBT history and where the movement is today.
