Join AARP Virginia and Mercy Chefs during Hunger Action Month for Dinner in a SNAP, a series of virtual cooking classes focused on preparing meals with food purchased using the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The chefs at Mercy Chefs, a relief organization whose mission is to provide professionally prepared meals to victims and responders during natural disasters as well as in underserved communities, will apply their knowledge and skills to demonstrate recipes that are kid-friendly and nutritious, while sticking to a strict budget.
