Music’s impact on health, for example, includes reducing stress, boosting mood and inspiring movement.  This AARP virtual music event features the artistry of Doug E. Fresh, activist, rapper, record producer and beatboxer known as the “The Original Human Beatbox.” His contributions to hip-hop music with the Get Fresh Crew led to his induction into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. He has received the Source Awards' Lifetime Achievement award and was the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards' Icon honoree.
