Join a conversation with Steppenwolf Theatre’s artistic director, Audrey Francis, to learn the story of the widely recognized Chicago company, which was co-founded by Gary Sinise in the 1970s and helped launch his career and that of such other stars as Laurie Metcalf and John Malkovich. Using this summer’s staging of the Harold Pinter play “No Man’s Land” as an example, Audrey will also share an artistic director’s perspective on the process involved in putting on a major production – making the choice of play, rehearsals, what it’s like to work with a cast.
