AARP New York is proud to present ”Creating a Legacy From Everyday Life” with Claire Willis, LICSW. In exploring what a legacy letter is and why you might want to prepare one, she’ll cover: 

• The primary benefits of legacy letters for the 50+ community, including how sharing our life stories and values can help meet our psychological and spiritual needs 
• The 7 major areas of concern for older adults when it comes to their legacy 
• Techniques for writing legacy letters as part of an ethical will – a document in which you pass on your values   

As an added bonus, participants can stay on after the presentation for an optional writing workshop - keep your paper and pen handy!
