This week’s topic – Capturing Light: Smartphone Photography Basics (Part 1)

Come learn photography techniques to capture images of insects, patterns, shadows and interesting shapes while experimenting with light. BarbaraWard will share information on smart phone camera settings, basic photography methods, how to add drama to your photographs, and some inexpensive methods to hide the chaos of the background to improve photographs.

Barbara is a fan of Senior Planet and a board member of the Newark Senior Center Technology Club in Delaware. Barbara previously presented to the Senior Planet Lunch and Learn group on “Internet Archives” and “Capturing Light: Digital Photography”. Her interests include health education, smart phone photography and computer technology. She is a long COVID survivor activist.
