A Poet on Aging

Join a conversation with Rhode Island poet Christopher Johnson about aging and his work.

In a recent performance at The Providence Public Library, Rhode Island poet, playwright and spoken word artist Christopher Johnson reflected on and celebrated his aging experience through his poetry and personal observations. We’ll view highlights of that performance and sit in as Johnson joins AARP Rhode Island State Director Catherine Taylor live in a conversation about his work and changing views on aging. He’ll also take questions from the audience. Johnson is the recipient of the 2018 Rhode Island State Council of the Arts Fellowship for Playwriting and a finalist for the 2018 for the MacColl Johnson Fellowship.
