Have you ever been approached with a fraudulent offer or been a victim of identity theft? The AARP Fraud Watch Network is working to empower you, with proven resources and tools to help you spot and avoid identity theft and fraud. In this presentation presented by the AARP Oregon SpeakerBureau, you’ll get an overview of the latest research on the psychology behind scams, the warning signs that can help you identify scams and scammers, scam prevention resources to protect you from being victimized and recent scams to watch out for. The presentation will be given by a member of AARP Oregon’s SpeakerBureau, volunteers dedicated to providing fun, interesting and up-to-date educational programs of interest to the 50+ community.
