Hello,

This is a gentle reminder that the Bereavement Group will meet on Monday, January 30 at 1pm here at Sunshine Cathedral Square.

Our topic for this week is loneliness. When a dear loved one dies, we are left with a huge gap in our life. We miss their presence. We miss the smell of the morning coffee that they would start or the way they would hum while doing their work or the deep conversations or simply their quiet (or not so quiet) way of being. All of this leads to our sense of loneliness.

When we’re used to having someone close by, either a spouse or partner or parent or dear friend or sibling, it is difficult to continue without them.

Please consider for yourself how loneliness has impacted your grief journey.
