Fitness: A Workout to Help You, Stretch, Strengthen and Balance

Learn balancing postures, breathwork, and stretching exercises to strengthen your muscles and release tension from American Council on Exercise (ACE)-certified instructor Mitch Menik.

“Stretch, Strength and Balance” class begins with a mild head-to-toe warm-up to increase blood flow to your muscles and connective tissues, then progresses with a series of stretching and strengthening movements. Students also learn gentle balancing postures that incorporate breathwork to release tension in the body and stimulate the brain. Warming up before a workout and practicing good breathing techniques can help you avoid injury, muscle cramping, and falls.

Mitch Menik, who also specializes in Yoga, QiGong, and meditation, primarily works with adults age 55 and older and holds an ACE Senior Fitness Specialist Certification and an ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist credential.

Participants of all experience levels and abilities are welcome. Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
