Cooking Class: We’re Making Poke Nachos
Chef Dan Swift of Windward Community College will show us how to make a delicious, light and flavorful appetizer just in time for the holidays – a local Asian fusion take on nachos using Hawaiian fresh fish, or poke, Chinese wonton chips and Japanese teriyaki. Don’t like poke? You can substitute tofu.
Registered participants will receive the recipe ahead of time so they can cook along with the chef. Your ingredients list will consist of ahi poke, avocado, cilantro, green onion and siracha mayo in addition to wonton chips and teriyaki.
