Fitness: Boost Your Balance and Mobility

Improving our balance and mobility is especially important as we get older, when the systems that help us maintain our balance and avoid falls — our vision, our inner ear, and our leg muscles and joints — tend to break down. The good news is that working on your balance can help prevent and slow those losses.

The 45-minute class, great for beginners, includes a warm-up with aerobic exercise; Kegel, balance and joint mobility exercises, and a cool-down with stretches. No equipment is required. You will need to register separately for each class you are interested in attending. Please consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
