Gain an understanding of practical resilience skills to help you cope with life’s ups and downs.
This 45-minute workshop is part of an ongoing weekly seminar of safe space to learn, listen, and share. We practice and grow resilience skills for coping with life, to bolster overall wellness, to mitigate social isolation. We use fellowship to strengthen our resiliency and connection in our lives. In this session, the focus will be “The Art of Compassion.”
These gatherings are about live connection, engagement, interaction, small group discussion and supportive chatting, whether you use your microphone or not -- cameras are always optional. Expect some mindfulness practices, along with on-the-spot group exercises to hone your skills, with time to share and laugh. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The series has been inspired by our local resilience group, described by one participant as “a group of individuals of a certain age trying to support each other in living our best lives.”
Bring your favorite beverage and come as you are to acknowledge what's happening in life with others who are choosing to live wholeheartedly along the journey.
