Health: Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia

November is National Family Caregiving Month, and AARP is working with the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness of and increase understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia. This workshop will share basic information on the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, the stages and risk factors and treatments available to address some symptoms. It’ll also explore findings of the latest research and share important resources. The program aims to help dispel the myth that Alzheimer’s is a normal part of aging.
