30-Minute Interval Training: Power Movements
Reap the benefits of interval training – greater strength, mobility and stamina!
AARP is excited to present our second 30-Minute Interval Training Series! Interval training is based on alternating a mix of short bursts of more intense activity with longer periods of low-impact exercise, all of which can be done easily at home with a mix of bodyweight and simple equipment.
Class 2: Power Movements
Exercises: Dynamic warm-up, squat thrust, PVC push press, penguin jump
Suggested Equipment: PVC Pipe, a broom, a dowel or a light object.
Working with a certified instructor from Old City CrossFit, this class will provide a fun and fulfilling approach to strength training while providing modifications and support for independently mobile participants who have a basic physical activity level.
