AARP NY is proud present this 4-part virtual series, Mental Exercise Through Chess. Participants will learn how to engage with this complex and exciting game, with lessons that advance from beginner to intermediate play.
National Master Michael Silvederio will guide attendees through chess rules and basic game progression, and will review opening strategies and attacking play as the series proceeds.
Sign up today to learn how to play or sharpen your existing skills. On August 15th, we'll begin learning the do's and don'ts in the early stage of the game.
