Bereavement Group

This is a gentle reminder that the Bereavement Group will meet on Monday, August 8 at 1pm on the campus of Sunshine Cathedral.

Our topic for the afternoon is Finding Community. When we lose a dear loved one, it is not uncommon for friends and family to also disappear from our lives. It may be their discomfort with death. They may not know what to say and so it is easier to just say nothing. There are a multitude of reasons why we lose a connection with friends and family after a death.

AND it is most important to still have community…to find those who will walk with us, who will include us, who will listen to us with concern and care. Please read the attached document and consider your community. Do you have a strong support system? Maybe not? Does the Bereavement Group assist with finding community?
