Although dogs are very new creations in an evolutionary sense, they have certain skills which are not found in any other species. I will discuss the controversy that has arisen in the last two decades as to what exactly the unique skills of dogs are. The unique skills of dogs lie in the ability to form strong emotional bonds with other species rather than in any more intellectual domain.
