Bereavement Group

A reminder that the Bereavement Group will meet this coming Monday, July 18 at 1pm on the campus of Sunshine Cathedral. I did move the meeting up one week because of my travel schedule. So….we are meeting on Monday, 7/18 and will not meet on Monday, 7/25.

Our topic for this gathering is The Unbearable Weight of Grief.

Grief is a heaviness that we carry with us and it never seems to go away. The weight may become lighter but it is still there. The death of a dear loved one is a trauma, an experience that is life-changing and it impacts just about everything we do. The key to all of this is learning to live with the heaviness. That is something we can do together as a community. We can share thoughts, feelings, and emotions with each other and with those who support us. This will help to ease the heavy load of grief.
