According to research from the University of California Riverside, 40% of the difference between people’s happiness is determined by intentional actions, not by genes or circumstances. On Thursday, December 16 keynote speaker an two-time author of books on kindness, Linda Cohen will lead a special interactive session designed especially for AARP members and friends.
Known as a “kindness catalyst,” during the session, Linda will help us explore how we can transform our everyday lives through kindness. Walk away with some actionable ideas on how we can put kindness into practice in our daily lives. ABOUT LINDA
Linda Cohen, also known as the Kindness Catalyst, is a nationally recognized kindness expert, author, and professional speaker for over a decade. She works with a wide variety of businesses and associations on the ROI of Kindness. Her first book, 1,000 Mitzvahs: How Small Acts of Kindness Can Heal, Inspire and Change Your Life was published in 2011 by Seal Press, is an inspirational guide to a life of gratitude. She delivered a TEDx talk the year her book was published. Since her books publication she has been interviewed on National Public Radio, NBC, ABC and Fox television. She's consulted on dozens of stories for magazines, newspapers and pod casts. Her new book, The Economy of Kindness: How Kindness Transforms Your Bottom Line was published in October 2021.
