Jewish Community Relations Council, Keshet and ADL present: The Virtue of Activism and Allyship. Join us for a powerful online discussion with key leaders of South Florida’s Jewish LGBTQ+ community on why allyship and inclusivity are vital now more than ever.

Discrimination toward anyone is out of line with our Jewish values. Most straight and/or cisgender people believe that LGBTQ equality is not negotiable. How should straight, cis people raise their voices for equality for all of us? Where and when can they work for change effectively?

We’re partnering with the South Palm Beach County Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and the Anti-Defamation League’s Florida Region (ADL) to open up a conversation, empower allies, and spark action. This event is oriented towards straight and/or cisgender allies, and all are welcome.

Speakers include: Jonathan Chait, Consul General of Mexico in Miami; Jeanette Jennings, Transkids Purple Rainbow President; Eli “Sage” Rosenberg, General Manager E.I. Games; Elizabeth Schwartz, Author and Attorney. Special guests include: Rabbi David Englander, B’nai Torah Congregation and Sophia Bilu, GSA VP at Donna Klein Jewish Academy.

Lambda Living is a program of Jewish Community Services of South Florida, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
