Join A Wider Bridge, The Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest, and The East Bay International Jewish Film Festival, for a viewing of the trailblazing honest and emotional documentary Israeli documentary “Whos Gonna Love Me Now” and for a panel conversation on living with HIV- AIDS, the fight against bias and stigmas, the journey for reconciliation and the role of Gay Men's Chorus in celebrating the triumph of love over hate.

About the Film:

"Who’s Gonna Love Me Now" follows the journey of Saar, an Israeli man, rejected by his religious family. After moving to London, he is diagnosed with HIV. Embracing the camaraderie, support, and love of his friends in his adopted city, as well as the community of the London's Gay Men's Chorus, Saar is able to repair and bridge his ties with his family and the country he left behind.

Join us in honor of World AIDS Day for a viewing of this inspirational documentary and a panel conversation about living with HIV - AIDS, the battle against bias and stigmas, and the triumph of love over hate.

We will be joined by: Cindy Brown, Program Manager of Lambda Living LGBT Senior program at JCS in South Florida and a member of A Wider Bridge’s Board of Directors; Nurit Shein, Interim Chairperson of The Aguda - The Association for LGBTQ Equality in Israel; and Chris Verdugo, Executive Director of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus.

A WIDER LENS is a series of events looking into the Israeli LGBTQ community, diverse society, and rich culture through A Wider Lens of experiences, including trailblazing Israeli documentaries, culinary workshops led by Israeli Chefs, and meaningful conversations with local heroes and activists.
