Explore some of the most iconic Italian dishes, cheeses, pasta, and desserts from Italy’s more famous cities. Discover regional appetizer specialties from south and north, like crostini, pizzette, panettone gastronomico, and “cicchetti,” Venice’s famed version of tapas. We’ll touch on two of Italy's favorite starters: pizza and pasta! You’ll learn about lasagna, tortellini, ravioli, and the stories behind fun pasta shapes like orecchiette "little ears" as well as the must-try dishes in each region of Italy. We'll end with sweets, of course, because Italy is famous for its sublime pastries and desserts. You'll learn tricks to spot the best gelato spots in Italy plus the fun history behind treats like cannoli, tiramisu, Nutella, rum baba, biscotti, marzipan, and more.
Join us LIVE for a lecture, followed by a Q&A where you can ask your questions.
