AARP Connecticut is excited to bring back "Mystic Mondays," our virtual collaboration with Mystic Seaport Museum. This special behind-the-scenes program with Mystic Seaport Museum curator Krystal Rose will take you into Mystic Seaport Museum’s locked “vault” to explore surprising and unusual artifacts held by the Museum and rarely seen by the public. Together we’ll explore the story of a whale that traveled out west by train, beautiful furniture made of unexpected materials, curious ingredients used in perfumes, odd remnants of whaling voyages, strange stories from the manuscripts collection, and footage from special ceremonies at sea. A trip into our “Cabinet of Curiosities” is a journey you don’t want to miss!
