#OUThere: Living History

presented by The National LGBTQ+ Women's Community

Survey & Justice Works at The Vaid Group in partnership with the National LGBTQ+ Task Force and the National Center for Lesbian Rights

REGISTER HERE

History is happening every day, and the fight for equal protections for all LGBTQ+ people continues to draw more advocates and new dissenters with each passing year. No matter where you turn, LGBTQ+ women have led the charge to fight back against legalized discrimination and champion protections so that no matter who you are and who you love, the right to thrive and live a happy and fulfilling life is not out of reach.

Join us for a dynamic panel discussion to close out LGBTQ+ History Month.

Moderated by Justice Works Executive Director, Urvashi Vaid
Panelists will include:

  • Mayra Hidalgo Salazar, Deputy Executive Director, National LGBTQ Task Force
  • Imani Rupert-Gordon, Executive Director, National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)
  • Chai Feldblum, Vice-Chair, AbilityOne Commission

Before the event, we encourage you to take The National LGBTQ+ Women's Community Survey & share it with your networks. Through your support, we can help policymakers and people organizing for our good learn more about the experiences of LGBTQ+ women, trans men who want to share their experience of partnering with women when they were assigned/perceived to be girls or women; and non-binary people who partner with or have partnered with women.
