But online platforms have made it easier than ever to raise money, including for charitable causes. This lecture will give an overview of donation-based crowdfunding and explore two popular platforms used by individuals and nonprofits to raise money: GoFundMe and Facebook Fundraisers. You’ll also learn tips for creating crowdfunding campaigns and for donating to causes that are important to you.
