Ever wondered about or desired to know more about your genealogy, your family’s story, or if you’re a descendant of royalty? Then it’s time to join AARP Cincinnati and Sunny Jane Morton, international genealogy educator for this free virtual presentation about how to trace your family tree. The presentation will help you understand what information you should look for and where to find the information. You’ll also discover how to learn more about your ethnicity, how to connect with biological relatives, even if you’ve been adopted or your parentage is unknown. We’ll tackle how to prepare for the surprises you may discover along the way.

You’ll receive resources to help you on your journey to discover your roots, and a chance to ask Sunny questions live. AARP will share resources to help you care for your family members. Those who register and attend will receive a free family tree toolkit, while supplies last.

The online class is free and open to the public on Thursday, August 19 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
