Join A Wider Bridge, The Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest, and The East Bay International Jewish Film Festival, for a viewing of the trailblazing Israeli documentary “The Sign for Love” and for a panel conversation on life with disability, while being LGBTQ and Israeli with the film’s co-creators Elad Cohen and Iris Ben Moshe, and with Patrick Levy- Leadership groups's facilitator, The Leadership Center of People with Disability at ‎בית איזי שפירא - Beit Issie Shapiro.

About the FIlm:

El-Ad was born deaf to a hearing family. After his mother’s tragic death and the breakdown of his family, he makes the most important decision of his life: to become a father. The film is his first-person account of the life he created for himself as a deaf, gay Israeli man. In his heartfelt documentary, Elad explores the meaning and experience of family, the bias against individuals with disabilities, and the power of human relationships
